Normal oestrus cycle - despite E.coli mastitis

In the first week after calving, cow 1851 showed an increased temperature at 3 pm and reduced rumination at 3 am. With the help of the smaXtec system, our customer was able to detect an E.coli mastitis early and act quickly. By looking at the curve diagram, it can be seen that the cow returned to normal body temperature just a few days later and had her first oestrus on February 21. Due to the fast treatment, the cow recovered much quicker and her normal cycle was not interrupted!
